Move on! It’s six letters, two words, easy to say, hard to explain and even harder to do. So many times in our lives we hang on to people, things, jobs and even relationships that we need to move on from.  The most frequently asked question is, how do I know when it’s time to move on?  But if we are really aware and honest with ourselves, the signs are always there. Constant arguing with no resolve or agreement and many times when it’s time to move on we villainize people and situations.  We try to make it bad, blame people and find fault, but I think most of the time all that is not necessary or even valid. Just accept it for what it is.  Be glad for situations, what you learned, how it propelled you forward and that it is time to move on to something else. So many times we desperately hang on to what God is telling us to “PLEASE LET THIS GO”.  We waste precious time trying to make something work and the frustration and anger sets in.  LET IT GO!  It’s not a failure or a loss, it’s just a season of your life. You are putting too much energy into things that you are not going to stay in.  When you hold on so tight to the old you are postponing the coming of your new. What do you need to cut loose and move on from today?

That’s why I don’t think there’s any comparison between the present hard times and the coming good times. The created world itself can hardly wait for what’s coming next. Everything in creation is being more or less held back. God reins it in until both creation and all the creatures are ready and can be released at the same moment into the glorious times ahead. Meanwhile, the joyful anticipation deepens. Romans 8:18-21 (MSG)
