Call me crazy, but I LOVE wrapping gifts. Some might see it as a chore, but I find it so festive and fun! Taking time to wrap each present with care is just one of my favorite things to do amidst the craziness of the holiday season. As Christmas approaches, I thought I would share some of my favorite tips and tricks for wrapping presents!

Prepare Your Workspace

Make sure you have everything you need to start wrapping. A large, flat, hard surface at a comfortable height is your best bet. Grab some scissors, tape, wrapping paper, and a pen. Don’t forget any embellishments you may want to use (think ribbon, string, tags, etc.).

Decide on a Color Palette

While there is nothing wrong with a wide variety of colors and patterns under your Christmas tree, having a specific color palette can be so beautiful!

Use Double Sided Tape

Want picture-perfect presents? Use double sided tape! Not only will it speed up your process and make your edges secure, it will also make your gifts look even prettier!

Boxes Are Your Best Friend

Having trouble wrapping that odd shaped gift? Put it in a box! This will cut down on a lot of frustration, and it will make your gifts look amazing together when you’re done.

Get Crafty with Kraft Paper

An easy way to create a unique look is to use kraft paper. First, wrap the gift in the plain paper, then embellish as much as your heart desires! The possibilities are endless.
